Diario di bordo - Logbook
La pista è la 36 centrale. L'aeroporto è quello di Antalya. Si parte da qui. Il nostro Piper 28R Arrow III, prodotto per MSFS2020 da Just Flight, ha gia acceso il motore.
Come spesso accade, anche stavolta seguiamo il tour proposto da IVAO, approfittando della divisone turca che lo ha diviso in 4 parti. Per il momento affrontiamo la prima, in seguito ci confronteremo con le altre.
Dopo il decollo effettuiamo la virata a sinistra per uscire dall'AD. Veloce sorvolo di Adalia ed affrontiamo i monti che la circondano.
Dopom le montagne il primo riporto è sul lago Saida Golu. A seguire Ayaz, nell'Onaz Dagi Milli Parki. La città di Aydn, nel distretto di Kosk, è sotto di noi, nella valle del fiume Meandro. Dietro il monte, la provincia di Smirne, e prepariamo l'approach. Oltrepattata Dagyeni inizia la discesa. A 18 km a sud di Izmir c'è Dokuz Eylül, Aeroporto Adnan Menderes, qui faremo il nostro primo atterraggio.
Ripartiamo dalla pista opposta. Sopra la città a tagliare il golfo di Smyrna e dopo il promontorio quello di Sandarli.Sorvoliamo iol piccolo stretto che divide l'isola graca di Lesvos alla Turchia, nei pressi di Candarli. Puntiamo la prua verso l'isola di Bozcada per iniziare la discesa per Barbaros, Canakkale Airport, locato a Merkez/Çanakkale, sullo stertto dei Dardanelli. Prima di atterrae miriamo i resti della mitica Troia.
Il prossimo round costeggia il mar di Marmara. All'orizzonte Istambul. Nel suolo la città di Bandirma, La provincia di Baliesir e di Bursa con i verdi monti che si affacciano sul mare.
Ihlamur Ormanları, Ekmekçi, il giardino di Eko-Hobby nel Karacabey. La città di Bursa è proprio sotto le nostre ali, guardando a Sud, nel finestrino destro. Atterriamo alla rwy 07L dello Yenişehir Airport.
Questa tappa che ci accingiamo a eseguire è molto bella: sorvoliamo la costa che ospiuta la capitale, con tutti i suoi distretti e provincie. Appena saliti in quota riportiamo su Nicea, nei pressi del lago Iznik Golu. Superato il promontorio entriamo nel distretto di Yalova, sorvolando Taşköprü, Çiftlikköy. Qui il mare forma una rilevante insenatura chiamata Izmit Korfezi, vediamo nitidamente il ponte che collega le due sponde ad Horsek.
La fitta periferia di Istambul asiatica è già in vista: Darica, Tuzla ed il suo porticciolo, lo scalo navale di Paulo Liman. L'isola di Buyukada precede quella di Heybeliada, di Burgazadasi, di Kinaliada. In lontananza il quartiere di Goztepe, Kuyubasi, sullo sfondo ad Est e poi quello di Uskudar. Ecco il Bosforo, che divide i due continenti. Entriamo nel cielo d'Europa. Ancora Istambul:enorme. All'orizzonte la città si dirada e a Silivri lasciamo il mare per entrare sulla terra ferma. L'approach segue l'avvicinamento per la pista 22 del Seymen, Tekirdag Ataturk Corlu Airport.
La quinta tappa ci riporta a Sud. Nel sorvolo incontriamo: Marmara Ereglisi, sulla costa della Baia di Erekli, Il Mar di Marmara, Çakılköy/Çakıl, Distretto di Erdek, nella Provincia di Balıkesir,Bandirma, Lago di Kus Golu, Kizisa, la città di Balikesir, Karacakas, Sazoba e l'aeroporto LTBT Manisa ad Akhisar,i monti presso Akyar, Şirinköy, Distretto di Ödemiş nella Provincia di Smirne. A Kızılcahavlu, nella valle, viriamo a Sud Est per Persrefli. La zona è montagnosa e nei pressi del Distretto di Koçarlı, in Provincia di Aydı, sorvoliamo, nellordine, Karadut, Arslanyaylasi, Kisir, il lago Camici, dove si entra nella provincia di Mugla. La baia di Akbuk Koyu appare all'improvviso sotto le nostre ali. E' il momento di preparare l'atterraggio. Virata su Kazili koyu e discesa in pista 10L ad Ekinanbarı, Milas Bodrum Havaalanı a Milas/Muğla.
La sesta ci riporta verso est.Sorvoliamo l'entroterra fino a Kızılağaç, proseguiamo per Zeytinalanı, nel Distretto di Köyceğiz,che da anche il nome al lago adiacente, sotto il monte Çal Dağı viriamo per raggiungere Söğütlüdere, Provincia di Muğla. Il paesaggio qui è ruvido e roccioso, l'ultime campagne coltivate sono nei pressi di Elmali. La riserva naturale di Kızlar Sivrisi ci accompagna fino a Ambar Katran Anıt Ağaçı, meta turistica dove ritroviamo la vegetazione. A Kemer troviamo il mare Mediterraneo nel Golfo di Adalia. Lo attraversiamo per atterrare alla pista 08 di Alanya.
La successiva è prevalentemente sul mare, a parte il decollo che ci permette di visitare, dall'alto, Gazipaşa, i centri Anamur, Bozyazi, Aydinci, Yesilovaci. Ad Ovest vediamo le coste di Cipro, possiamo iniziare la discesa per l'aeroporto di Antiochia, a pochi Km dal confine siriano. La tratta numero 8 è tutta a ritroso:Iskenderon bay, Karataş, sullo sfondo la città di Mersin, Gazipaşa, lisola greca di Kastelllorizo, Gerenlik Beach, i monti di Uyluk/Yakaköy, a Seydikemer, Karadere e la discesa per la pista 01 di Dalaman.
Penultima tratta turca, con la prua verso Nord. Subito sopra i tetti di Ortaca,Koyceziz Golu, il lago della omonima città. Incrociando il letto del fiume Namnam viriamo ad Nord Est, sopra le colline dell'Arıcılar. Sempre diritti fino al distretto roccioso di Tavas. Oltre troviamo Cankurtaran nella Provincia di Denizli. Honaz, le attrazioni geografiche di Haydar Baba Caddesi, il Distretto di Baklan, Isiklar Golu, l'Akdag Natural Park,la cittadina di Tınaztepe, nel Distretto di Sinanpaşa in Provincia di Afyonkarahisar. Così affrontiamo un'ampia virata su Genzler verso Est e ancora una verso Nord Ovest su Fethibey
da Antkaya iniziamo la discesa. atterraggio sulla pista 31 dello Zafer Airport.L'utlima tappa ci riportqa a Smirne. Ripartiamo e dritti verso Sud Ovest sorvoliamo: Saraycık, Paçacılar, Karaçayır, nella Provincia di Uşak; La riserve naturale di Kula Geopark, il villaggio di Adala, le campagne che circondano Durasilli, il villaggio di Kendirlik, vicino al Marmara Golu, Turgutlu.
In prossimità dell'autostrada che costeggia Istiklat diamo inizio alla discesa. La fine di questo meraviglioso tour è vicina. Abbiamo sorvolate 2.352 miglia, riportate in 16 ore di video.
Attraversiamo tutta la città, il porto commerciale, e poi un'altra porzione di Izmir per virare a Sud. Il finale è sulla pista 17. Per visitare il resto del paese affronteremo in seguito gli altri tour VFR programmati dalla divisione.

As often happens, this time too we follow the tour proposed by IVAO, taking advantage of the Turkish division which divided it into 4 parts. For the moment we will deal with the first one, later we will deal with the others.
After takeoff we make a left turn to exit AD. Quick flight over Antalya and we face the mountains that surround it.
After the mountains the first report is on Lake Saida Golu. Following Ayaz, in the Onaz Dagi Milli Parki. The city of Aydn, in the Kosk district, is below us, in the valley of the Meander River. Behind the mountain, the province of Smyrna, and we prepare the approach. Beyond Dagyeni the descent begins. 18 km south of Izmir is Dokuz Eylül, Adnan Menderes Airport, here we will make our first landing.
Let's start again from the opposite track. Above the city it cuts across the Gulf of Smyrna and after the promontory that of Sandarli. We fly over the small strait that divides the Greek island of Lesvos from Turkey, near Candarli. We aim the bow towards the island of Bozcada to begin the descent to Barbaros, Canakkale Airport, located in Merkez/Çanakkale, on the Dardanelles Strait. Before landing we admire the remains of the mythical Troy.
The next round runs along the Sea of Marmara. Istanbul on the horizon. In the soil the city of Bandirma, the province of Baliesir and Bursa with the green mountains overlooking the sea.

This stage that we are about to perform is very beautiful: we fly over the coast that hosts the capital, with all its districts and provinces. As soon as we reach altitude we report back to Nicaea, near Lake Iznik Golu. After passing the promontory we enter the Yalova district, flying over Taşköprü, Çiftlikköy. Here the sea forms a significant inlet called Izmit Korfezi, we clearly see the bridge that connects the two banks in Horsek.
The dense suburbs of Asian Istanbul are already in sight: Darica, Tuzla and its small port, the Paulo Liman naval port. The island of Buyukada precedes that of Heybeliada, Burgazadasi, Kinaliada. In the distance the neighborhood of Goztepe, Kuyubasi, in the background to the east and then that of Uskudar. Here is the Bosphorus, which divides the two continents. We enter the sky of Europe. Istanbul again: huge. On the horizon the city thins out and in Silivri we leave the sea to enter the mainland. The approach follows the approach to runway 22 at Seymen, Tekirdag Ataturk Corlu Airport.
The fifth stage takes us back to the South. During the overflight we encounter: Marmara Ereglisi, on the coast of Erekli Bay, the Sea of Marmara, Çakılköy/Çakıl, Erdek District, in the Balıkesir Province, Bandirma, Kus Golu Lake, Kizisa, the city of Balikesir, Karacakas, Sazoba and LTBT Manisa airport in Akhisar, the mountains near Akyar, Şirinköy, Ödemiş District in Izmir Province. At Kızılcahavlu, in the valley, we turn south-east towards Persrefli. The area is mountainous and near the Koçarlı District, in the Province of Aydı, we fly over, in order, Karadut, Arslanyaylasi, Kisir, Lake Camici, where we enter the province of Mugla. Akbuk Koyu Bay suddenly appears under our wings. It's time to prepare for landing. Turn on Kazili koyu and descend on the 10L slope in Ekinanbarı, Milas Bodrum Havaalanı in Milas/Muğla.
The sixth takes us back east. We fly over the hinterland to Kızılağaç, we continue to Zeytinalanı, in the Köyceğiz District, which also gives its name to the adjacent lake, under the Çal Dağı mountain we turn to reach Söğütlüdere, Muğla Province. The landscape here is rough and rocky, the last cultivated countryside is near Elmali. The Kızlar Sivrisi nature reserve accompanies us to Ambar Katran Anıt Ağaçı, a tourist destination where we find vegetation. In Kemer we find the Mediterranean Sea in the Gulf of Antalya. We cross it to land at runway 08 in Alanya.
The next one is mainly over the sea, apart from the take-off which allows us to visit, from above, Gazipaşa, the centers Anamur, Bozyazi, Aydinci , Yesilovaci. To the West we see the coasts of Cyprus, we can begin the descent to Antioch airport, a few kilometers from the Syrian border. Route number 8 is all backwards: Iskenderon bay, Karataş, in the background the city of Mersin, Gazipaşa, the Greek island of Kastelllorizo, Gerenlik Beach, the mountains of Uyluk/Yakaköy, in Seydikemer, Karadere and the descent to Dalaman runway 01.
Penultimate Turkish leg, with the bow towards the North. Immediately above the roofs of Ortaca, Koyceziz Golu, the lake of the city of the same name. Crossing the bed of the Namnam river we turn north-east, above the Arıcılar hills. Always straight until the rocky district of Tavas. Beyond we find Cankurtaran in the Denizli Province. Honaz, the geographical attractions of Haydar Baba Caddesi, the Baklan District, Isiklar Golu, the Akdag Natural Park, the town of Tınaztepe, in the Sinanpaşa District in the Afyonkarahisar Province. So we face a large turn on Genzler towards the East and one more towards the North West on Fethibey
from Antkaya we begin the descent. landing on runway 31 of Zafer Airport. The last stop takes us back to Izmir. We set off again and straight towards the South West we fly over: Saraycık, Paçacılar, Karaçayır, in the Province of Uşak; The nature reserve of Kula Geopark, the village of Adala, the countryside surrounding Durasilli, the village of Kendirlik, near Marmara Golu, Turgutlu.
Near the highway that runs alongside Istiklat we begin the descent. The end of this wonderful tour is near. We flew over 2,352 miles, reported in 16 hours of video.
We cross the entire city, the commercial port, and then another portion of Izmir to turn south. The finale is on runway 17. To visit the rest of the country we will then tackle the other scheduled VFR tours from the division.
